Terms of Use

Last updated: July 2026

HeartSync is not therapy, crisis support, or a substitute for professional care. If you or your partner are in immediate danger, call 911 (or your local emergency number). For domestic violence support, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988.

What HeartSync is

HeartSync is a self-guided coaching and accountability app for couples. It uses AI (via Anthropic's Claude API) to generate relationship assessments, daily tasks, and weekly reviews based on answers you and your partner provide. It is a coaching tool, not a licensed therapist, counselor, or medical provider, and nothing in the app should be treated as professional therapeutic, legal, or medical advice.

Who can use HeartSync

You must be 18 or older and in a relationship with the partner you invite to use the program together.

The safety gate

HeartSync screens assessment answers for signs of abuse, coercion, or safety risk before generating any coaching content. When triggered, the app stops coaching and shows crisis resources instead. This is a best-effort safety measure, not a guarantee — it can miss things or be wrong. If you are ever in danger, don't wait on the app; contact emergency services or a domestic violence hotline directly.

Your responsibilities

No warranty

HeartSync's AI-generated content (scores, recommendations, daily tasks) is provided "as is," may contain mistakes, and is not guaranteed to improve your relationship. Relationship outcomes depend on both partners, not just the app.
